Overview
The Sapientia Filipina: Review of Education and Multidisciplinary Studies (SFREMS) is committed to preserving the accuracy, reliability, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. While every manuscript undergoes rigorous editorial assessment and independent peer review prior to publication, errors or ethical concerns may occasionally be identified after publication.
When post-publication issues arise, SFREMS follows fair, transparent, and consistent procedures for issuing errata, corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or article removals, as appropriate. These actions are intended to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record while ensuring that readers have access to accurate and trustworthy research.
All post-publication decisions are made in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics standards and are guided by the principles of transparency, accountability, due process, and proportionality.
Errata
An Erratum is published when an error introduced during the editorial, production, or publishing process affects the accuracy or presentation of a published article but does not alter the validity of its findings or conclusions.

Corrections
A Correction is published when an error originating from the author(s) requires amendment but does not invalidate the overall findings, interpretation, or conclusions of the research.

Expressions of Concern
An Expression of Concern may be issued when substantial questions arise regarding the integrity, reliability, ethical conduct, or validity of a published article but sufficient evidence is not yet available to determine whether correction or retraction is warranted.
Circumstances that may warrant an Expression of Concern include:
The Expression of Concern will remain associated with the article until the investigation has concluded, after which it may be replaced by a correction, retraction, or removal if appropriate.
Retractions
A Retraction is issued when a published article is determined to be fundamentally unreliable or when serious breaches of publication ethics have occurred.

When concerns regarding a published article are raised, the Editorial Office may:

Authors are provided an opportunity to respond to allegations before editorial decisions are finalized whenever appropriate.
Reporting Concerns
Authors, readers, reviewers, editors, institutions, and other stakeholders are encouraged to report suspected errors or publication ethics concerns to the Editorial Office.
Reports should include sufficient information to enable proper evaluation and, where possible, supporting evidence.
All concerns are handled confidentially and investigated objectively.
