Intellectual Property
The Review of Economics, Accounting, Business, and Management Studies (REABMS) recognizes that intellectual property rights are fundamental to responsible scholarly communication, academic innovation, and the advancement of knowledge. The journal is committed to protecting the rights of authors while promoting the ethical dissemination, responsible reuse, and long-term preservation of scholarly works.
REABMS adopts an author-centered publishing model in which authors retain copyright ownership of their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, preserve, and disseminate the article. The journal encourages the lawful sharing and reuse of published research through open-access licensing while ensuring that authors receive appropriate recognition for their intellectual contributions.
Ownership of Scholarly Work
Authors publishing in the Review of Economics, Accounting, Business, and Management Studies (REABMS) retain full copyright and intellectual property rights to their published articles.
Publication in REABMS does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership to the journal.

- Deposit the published Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories;
- Share the published article through personal websites, institutional webpages, and academic networking platforms;
- Distribute copies for educational, research, and professional purposes;
- Receive appropriate attribution whenever their work is reused or cited.

- Reproduce and distribute the published work;
- Archive and preserve the article through recognized digital preservation services;
- Register Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where applicable;

These materials may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
This restriction does not apply to scholarly articles published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which remain subject to the permissions granted under that license.

- Notifying relevant institutions or authorities where appropriate.
Investigations are conducted fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics Policy.
Respect for Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Heritage
Where research involves Indigenous knowledge, traditional cultural expressions, community knowledge, or culturally sensitive materials, authors are expected to respect applicable legal, ethical, and community-based intellectual property rights.

Commitment to Intellectual Property Rights
The Review of Economics, Accounting, Business, and Management Studies (REABMS) is committed to fostering a scholarly publishing environment that respects creativity, innovation, academic integrity, and responsible knowledge sharing. By protecting authors' intellectual property while supporting open-access dissemination through author-retained copyright and the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, the journal promotes ethical scholarship, responsible reuse, and the free exchange of scientific knowledge for the benefit of researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the broader academic community. These principles strengthen academic integrity and contribute to the advancement of criminology, sociology, law, criminal justice, forensic science, governance, public policy, and related interdisciplinary disciplines.
